This is a large open field with campers crammed at every angle with barely enough room for slide-outs in between. No security: people with golf carts/ATV's buzzing around hollering well past midnight. You could not get out your door to walk the dog or go to the showerhouse for fear of being run down; people throwing beer bottles into trash cans as they rode past. Took us 1 and a half hours to check in, staff very disorganized. They advertise over 1000 sites but there are only about 300 numbered sites; the rest are "dry" camping in a field or crammed up against another numbered site. The electricity went out about midnight and was not restored before we left the next day (no reason for this). Only 1 of the 3 dump stations were operational. We stayed here during the fair. I recommend staying somewhere else and driving in. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is the proximity to the fairgrounds. No way would we stay here again.

A nice overnight spot, kids enjoyed the pool, it is quiet, close to town if you need to run for groceries, etc. Friendly office staff. Would stop here again if in the area.

I give it a 7 only for the location; this campground is essentially a parking area winding around the city streets. The dusk to dawn light next to the baseball field blazed in the camper all night, I had to block the windows to sleep, forget trying to see any stars at night! Although it is "on the bay", the only waterfront sites are seasonals, which make the park look like a run-down trailer court. Some campers were on concrete blocks. No privacy, the public drive through the streets to get to the municipal facilities, no security.

Very tight, many big rigs which appear seasonals. Although crowded, it was quiet. Clean and well kept grounds, friendly staff, they really keep an eye on things. They charged extra for the kids so it was a very expensive stay. Nice laundry area, pool is small, but we would stay here again if in the area.

A beautiful location, sites right on the bay of Lake Superior. Sites are close together, but far enough apart so you can have a nice campfire. Although a municipal campground, it feels like a state park. No cable or pool. Close to town. It was very hard to get through to make a reservation in the off season, had to wait until they opened for the year as nobody returned calls to place reservation.

Nice campsite right on the lake, very private and huge sites. Take a long extension cord, the hookups are far, be sure to note the distance when making reservations. This campground has lots of hiking trails and a wonderful restaurant at the general store; but, it is very far away from anything else.

A very nice park, with sites right on Lake Superior, a hidden gem! Noisy at night, neighbors partying till after 1am. They have an interesting visitor's center and evening programs. It is worth the drive.

Nice wooded campground, however the electrical system is messed up, could not hook up 30 amps, only 15 amps. No programs were offered during our stay, even though it is a provincial park. We only stayed 1 night, were booked for 3. The falls were nice.

There is a wide variety of sites, from heavily wooded to lined up in a row in several different camping areas, something for all tastes in camping. We got bad advice from store staff for Mt Rushmore celebration and almost missed the fireworks. There is a nice heated pool & hot tub, and bike rentals.

This is a quiet campground. Check-in clerk was not friendly. Most of the sites are seasonals. There is an extra charge for your kids. We were charged an extra $3 a piece per night. This is an acceptable overnight stop; wouldn't stay longer though.

This is an awesome campground with buffalo right outside the fence in herds. I has all the amenities plus a good location; just a minute's drive to the main visitor center.

Horrible, poorly kept campground, looks as if it has been closed down...gravel clearings designated as campsites. Bad copperhead problem when we were there. Reserved 3 nites, stayed one. No park programs offered. The cumberland falls "moonbow" is a tale to get tourists into the area; it can only be seen in full moon, low humidity conditions. (not heat of summer) We couldn't wait to get away from the area!

Beautiful, spacious sites, all water/electric/50 amp. (except for separate tent area). Nice mini golf area, pool with water slide. Fort was disappointing and expensive to visit. One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at! Noise round the clock from a nearby quarry was the only downfall.

Nicely separated sites, although sites are on sand, lucky to get a patch of grass. No real playground, only a jungle gym. Beach is too far a walk across 2 hot parking lots. Over priced when you add in the daily park fee. Beach is small and water was full of green slime. No park programs offered during our stay, only on weekends in the middle of summer!

Gravel roads, park looks old and in need of a little attention, but overall the kids had a blast. Nice playground and pool. Some activities throughout the day. Campground is very large so make sure you request a site near the pool/playground. We made our reservations 5 months in advance, even had a site#, but the site was given away when we arrived...ended up with a nice spot though, it was a lot of hassle after a long drive.

Awesome, huge campsites. Rather far from the beaches, though. This is the only electric/reservable campground in the park. Lost electicity for more than half our stay due to a storm. No playground. Many rules, but this keeps it quiet. Not very good ranger programs for a national park.

This is what camping is all about. Beautiful beach, spacious sites, sure you're camping on dirt but the setting is perfect. Great family spot. Close to civilization but you feel secluded. Not very good park programs, though, "rangers" very young and not good at it yet.

Excellent daily & nightly programs. Lower falls campground within hiking distance to campground (Rivermouth campground some 20 miles to the south). Very quiet. Alcohol prohibited. Make sure you have plenty of diesel fuel, there is no station for 30 miles.

Sites so close together you couldn't extend your awning without hitting the neighbor's slide. Small strip of grass between sites. Picnic table on neighbor's sewer hookup. Expensive overnighter. Nice laundry and pool. Spa not well heated. Not the best KOA we've stayed at.

Nice shady campground, they managed to make it somewhat secluded feeling even though it is in the middle of a cornfield. Each site has a tree and a planted flower pot on each picnic table, which was a nice touch. Hosts very visible throughout stay (overnighter). Easy on/off I70. Host asked us not to flush tanks as the sewer was full. Pricey for an overnighter. rates are for 2 people only, each child is an extra 2 bucks.

Nice family campground, alcohol not permitted which makes it quiet. Spacious sites, nice playground area. Extra 10 bucks to get through the gate state park fee. Beach is noisy and blaring loudspeakers announcing rules & regulation every 15 min or so.

Typical Missouri state park setting, however with full hook-ups in 2 sections! We discovered it was quite a drive to all the Branson amenities, but it was quiet. A short walk to the marina where you can rent a boat (best boat rental in Branson).
